SAFHIS Launches Clinic Assistant (CA) Role
Key Permissions: CAs can manage Medical Screening Appointments, but are strictly restricted from accessing or editing Electronic Medical Records (EMR). They are approved directly by the facility's PIC.
Onboarding Steps:
- Invite: PIC adds the CA's email via User Management.
- Register & Verify: CA creates an account, uploads their ID/Employment Pass, and verifies via OTP.
- Approve: PIC activates the pending CA account.

2026 SAFHIS Processing Schedule
The 2026 SAFHIS Processing Schedule is now available: New Medical Facilities can register during three windows (Jan-Mar, Jun-Aug, and Nov-Dec), with JKNS processing periods in between. Existing Medical Facilities have until the end of August to upload new APCs before the JKNS renewal review begins in September. Please ensure all submissions are completed within these designated timeframes to remain compliant.

Training For Healthcare Professionals
SAFHIS is now collaborating with the Sarawak Technology Administration and Compliance (STAC) Training centre to launch a series of paid training programmes, which aims to reinforce platform usage, enhance EMR standards, and ensure compliance best practices for both new and seasoned panel medical facilities.
